Gentle Giant Joshua

Hi, my name is Joshua but all my friends call me Josh ~ you should too cause everyone is MY friend! I’m a pure bred, 16 month old, neutered male Doberman Pinscher who's known to be a TOTAL house dog! My foster mother (Mare herself) says she fell in love with my GORGEOUS eyes as they mirror my softhearted soul! She tells everyone that I'm like a throw back to the Dobbies she knew waaaaay back in the 70's and '80's, cause I'm SWEET, STABLE and have a SOLID, sound TEMPERAMENT rather than neurotic and nervous or anxious Dobs she often sees these days. She says she loves me cause I’m always HAPPY, smiling and FULL of life with a QUIET, easy going, GENTLE demeanor ~ makes me feel GOOD to be so appreciated! CALM and quiet, I’m extremely PATIENT and kind with children but always up for a good visit with gentle canine friends or a long walk with my human(s). I'm also completely house, crate (though I certainly don’t require one) and car trained, sit nicely for treats and doors without being asked and walk very politely on lead as a true gentleman should. I love to lie quietly at your feet indoors while watching a movie or reading a book, go for quiet walks, play nicely with other dogs. I've even been good with cats (when tested) and I especially LOOOOOOOOVE children of all ages and am always and forever ready for a good belly rug from anyone who’ll take the time to give me one ~ that’s my favorite thing on earth! I grew up with two Weimerieners and a fiesty little Chihuahua and I now live in an indoor multi-dog foster home so I’m completely house, crate, car AND leash trained and sit nicely on command for food and treats. I’m always ready for a car ride and, if you give me just two seconds to get to know you, I'll be your BEST FRIEND for life ! I do make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I’m especially good with people.
