He’s one of those puppies you don’t forget.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Gecko was found alone at a desert park the day after Christmas — likely a “gift” that didn’t work out. But despite being abandoned, this little guy showed nothing but trust and love. He walked right over to his finder and gently rested his muzzle on top of her shoe, asking for comfort.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Now safe with Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue, Gecko is thriving.<br/><br/><br/>✨ The details:<br/><br/>• 8 weeks old<br/><br/>• First puppy vaccines complete<br/><br/>• Neuter will be covered by our rescue at Simi Valley Spay & Neuter Clinic when he is 6 months old<br/><br/>• Teething puppy — chew toys are a must!<br/><br/>• Playful, curious, affectionate, and smart<br/><br/><br/><br/>Gecko is expected to grow into a medium–large dog and will need daily enrichment, exercise, and mental stimulation. He’s not a couch-potato pup — he’s an adventure dog in the making.<br/><br/><br/><br/>🏡 Ideal home:<br/><br/>We’re looking for a home with a secure backyard or an active individual or family who loves beach days, hikes, park outings, and structured playtime.
