Meet Gato
I'm Gato, a terrier mix about 1 year old and a perfect size for snuggling on the couch.
I'm about 35 pounds and came to the Humane Society as a stray. I was pretty shy at first, but the staff won me over with some cat food and that's how I got my name.
I'm still figuring out how to be a dog - like how to play in a group with other dogs and not just watch! I'm a little shy meeting new people, but I'm a sweet boy and love snuggles once I've built trust.
I think I would make an excellent couch companion for my forever family. I'll go on a walk if you entice me with treats, but it's not my favorite thing.
