After vetting, dogs are transferred to foster homes in Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties—however, many are adopted before they reach their foster homes.<br/><br/>Because we are 100% volunteer‑powered, we meet pre‑approved adopters in Ellensburg to keep transport manageable and fair for everyone.<br/>If you cannot drive to Ellensburg, we will do our best to arrange a volunteer driver to meet you in your Western WA city.<br/><br/>Meeting Locations<br/>Western WA adopters:<br/>Approved adopters will meet in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks.
