Garmr has mellowed out so much since coming into foster care, what was once an uptight scared dog is now a happy-go-lucky, belly rub lover, wants to meet everyone sort of guy. He just loves to be loved! While he is slow to warm up to other dogs for play purposes, he does an awesome job with meeting them and would do fine with another calm dog in the house to learn from. Garmr loves people of every shape and size and he tries his best to be gentle around smaller children but can forget his size when he gets excited, however that doesn't mean that he won't lay for hours being brushed and pet by them! Loves to go on adventures and does wonderfully on leash while a stroller is being pushed; Garmr just enjoys spending time with his people. He is also very athletic and would love to be a jogging, hiking, or biking partner, but he definitely enjoys the lazy days too. Garmr is an angel in his crate, is potty trained, does great during car rides, and he doesn't mind a bath, nail trim, or even his ears being cleaned! Although Garmr can have a mind of his own, he is super treat motivated so it hasn't taken him long to learn sit, come, down, crate, no, wait, and he is also muzzle trained. He still can get scared at times and needs you to show him that everything is okay but Garmr's trust in people is unwavering. He has so much more potential and lots of love to give!
