12/7/25<br/><br/>Foater to adopt homes needed!<br/><br/>We were contacted recently about a litter of 7 local puppies in need. They are a blend of Cattle Dog, Coonhound, Pit Bull and likely a few other things (we call these types of mixes Heinze 57's). We were able to help two of the puppies and find the other 5 rescue. Can anyone offer help by fostering or fostering to adopt one of these sweet pups? <br/><br/>Due to their breed mix, they will likely be 40 to 60 pounds full grown. Tinsel is the sweetest little girl and pretty calm<br/>when it comes to puppies. Garland is all boy, the explorer, and the more playful guy ready to go Go Go Go if given the opportunity.<br/><br/>Fill out our jotform below if you can help!<br/><br/>Due to their size and age, fostering requirements are:<br/><br/>-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.<br/>-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.<br/>-Being able to bring each back to our vets office in Adams for additional care, prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking them to your current vet to be established.<br/>-Since they are pups, cats, kids and dogs in the home should be fine !<br/>-Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.<br/>-Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.<br/>-An adoption donation of $500 is being asked, if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. Foster to adopt pets are limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams, NY and pets must be takrn to our vets office for care until adoption.<br/><br/>All pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes. Dogs in the home must come to the meet and greet as well to be sure they will get along with the new pet. Veterinary reference check and adoption donation also required.
