GA/(Pending Adoption) Regan(OH)'s Story

Hey Everyone, I’m Regan a cute Orange & White Brittany mix looking for the right place to call home FOEVER!
I'm estimated to be between 4-5 years old, as you see I was found as a stray before coming to start my new life here at NBRAN.
Just like many rescue dogs that have a bad start in life, but
now I feel safe and happy and am actually experiencing my first puppy hood, according to my foster. She says this because I show many of the mannerisms and of course the energy you would see in a puppy.
For example, most of the time I walk nicely on leash, but sometimes I get so excited and decide to pull a bit to hard. I also enjoy retrieving which is one way I’m learning self control. My foster Mom uses two balls, which I will drop the 1st one on command, and Wait for the Go command to retrieve the second ball. I don’t need to be told to come back while retrieving, but I can get a bit distracted. So, my foster still tells me to Come, which is good practice for my puppy brain and if I forget what I’m doing.
The other thing I’m still learning is patience. My foster is helping with that by grooming my beautiful coat and long tail, which I’m not a big fan of but I'm doing better and being more tolerant. My foster Mom says this will help me build patience and composure for other situations, like being around other dogs. I like other dogs, but I do not know how to play nicely plus my energy level can be too much for most dogs. So, it maybe best if I find a home where I’m the only dog. I do love people and am very affectionate and loving but my energy maybe to much for young children. A cat free home is also best too along with a Secure Physically fenced in yard.
Oh and last but not least, some housebreaking will be required, but I’m a quick learner. Plus I’m spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. So if you ready to fill your heart watching me, Regan, an adolescent dog experience puppyhood for the first time blossom into an adorable member of the family please consider filling out an application Today!
If you’re ready to consider making Regan apart of you family, please submit an application here: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application Once your application is submitted the coordinator in the State where you reside will follow-up with you. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here https://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators Regan’s adoption fee is 325.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brits like me, Regan, back to good health and readying them for adoption. Regan is currently being fostered in Northwest Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Still have questions, contact Regional Director Chris Eddinger at ceddinger@verizon.net
