Fritz (Diamond Springs)'s Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fritz is a 10-month-old mix, who was surrendered to a local shelter, along with his litter mates. Most likely, he is a basset/lab mix (which we call a 'Bassador'). He has a good disposition, getting along well with other dogs and people. He is happy, loves to play with his toys, and can even play fetch (sort of)! He walks very nicely, with an occasional sniff-stop, but never pulling or lunging. He loves to play with water and has been friendly with all the kids he has met so far (age ranging from 3 to 11 year-old girls). He rides well in the car, but should be tethered to keep him confined to the back. Fritz shows signs of separation anxiety and barks when left alone. He is currently being trained to overcome it and would do better in a household with other dogs or with a person who stays at home most of the time. Check out his video clips!
