FRIDA's Story

Frida is ready to leave momma dog duties in the dust and start a new chapter! After raising a litter of puppies that have all since left the shelter, it's finally her turn to find a family of her own. She has a friendly, easygoing personality that's a great mix of affectionate and independent. Frida enjoys spending time with people, but she's also perfectly content entertaining herself by strolling around, sniffing every interesting smell she can find. With her low to medium energy level, she'd make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog who's happy to join in on adventures and then relax afterward. This sweet girl is good on a leash, and has done well meeting other dogs in shelter playgroups. Frida loves her snacks. She takes treats gently from your hand and will happily show off her impressive vertical leap when you hold one up - but don't worry, she jumps for the treat, not on you. And treats are pretty much the only things that make her that excited.
