Freya's Story

Meet Freya - a 4-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with movie-star looks and the social skills of someone accidentally forced into a group project.
After spending her life as a breeding dog, Freya is finally getting to enjoy the important things in life: toys, comfy beds, snacks, and learning that humans can actually be pretty nice. She's a shy girl and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Think "slow-burn best friendship" rather than "love at first sight."
Freya is housebroken, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, loves other dogs, and would probably enjoy having a confident canine buddy around to show her the ropes. She's still figuring out this whole "walking on a leash" thing, so a securely fenced yard is required while she continues her training montage.
Her hobbies include: Carrying toys around proudly Napping dramatically in her dog bed Following other dogs like they're celebrity influencers Keeping a suspiciously close eye on cats
(Translation: she'd do best in a cat-free home.)
Freya may not be the life of the party right away, but underneath the shy exterior is a sweet, gentle dog who deserves a calm home where she can finally relax and just be a dog. If you're the kind of person who believes the best things in life are worth waiting for, Freya might just be your perfect match.

Kennel license # 9117
Po box 2372
Reading pa 19608
