Freya's Story
Freya is a gorgeous young Pyrenees mix who was originally adopted from us as a puppy and recently returned to us. She's a deeply affectionate, loyal girl who bonds strongly with her people and thrives in a calm, structured environment.

After living in a busy multi-dog home, Freya showed increasing resource guarding behaviors around food and high-value items, particularly with another similarly aged female Pyrenees mix in the home. Because of this, we believe Freya will do best either as the only dog in the household or potentially with a confident, well-matched male dog and an experienced owner who understands how to properly manage feeding routines and dog-to-dog boundaries.

Freya is incredibly loving with her people, intelligent, and eager to connect. She will need an adopter who can provide consistency, structure, and continued behavioral guidance to help her feel secure and successful. She is not the right fit for a first-time dog owner, but in the right home, Freya has so much potential to thrive.

We're looking for a patient, experienced, adult-only home committed to helping this beautiful girl continue building confidence and stability. Beneath it all, Freya is a sweet soul who deserves a fresh start with someone willing to understand her needs.

Breed (DNA): Great Pyrenees / German Shepherd / Malamute / Husky mix (reported relatives include wolf hybrids)
