Meet French Fries!<br/><br/>French Fries is a 2-year-old, 62 lb boy who was found as a stray. He recently got a day away from the shelter and showed just how much he enjoys being around people.<br/><br/>He's affectionate, loves giving face kisses, and spent most of his outing wanting to stay right next to his volunteer. He was great meeting new people in public, did well with an older child, and took treats gently. He also showed friendly, relaxed body language around other dogs, meeting them with loose bodies and big wags.<br/><br/>French Fries has moderate energy and enjoys getting out to explore, but he's also perfectly happy to settle down for a nap and some snuggles once he's had a chance to decompress. He's a good leash walker once he gets the initial excitement out and seems like a smart guy who will pick up training with some consistency.<br/><br/>French Fries can jump could clear a 6-foot fence, so his future family will need to be prepared to keep this talented escape artist safely contained.<br/><br/>French Fries is an incredibly affectionate, social young dog who did wonderfully on his day away. He'd love the chance to show his future family the same side of himself.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
