Frederico joins our rescue from Pinal County Animal Care & Control where he has been overlooked since July of 2025. He was surrendered by his owner after living his life on a 6-foot chain. Frederico was shown kindness and softness at the shelter and eventually came out of his shell to be the amazing boy he is today.<br/><br/>Striking blue eyes and a personality to match, this guy is quickly using his charm to win over our volunteers. Frederico is sweet and friendly when he meets new people. He's a total ham that loves to give and receive affection. <br/><br/>Frederico is 4 years old but definitely still has that young, goofy pup spunk to him. He loves to run around the yard, play with toys and in the water. <br/><br/>Frederico walks nice on a leash and knows basic commands. He is super dog-friendly with proper introductions with both male and female dogs. Frederico is described as a gentleman during his play groups at Pinal, taking corrections from dogs well and helping bring timid dogs out of their shells. <br/><br/>How has Frederico been waiting this long without a home? With his amazing traits, he will make a great addition to someone's household. He will thrive with structure, routine and lots of love.
