Freddy of Nelson, BC is looking for an adoptive or foster home: <br/>Mr Long and Lean is 60lbs of energy, vital life force and joy, born in October of 2024. He is an eager to please, clever goofball that is extremely smart, food motivated- playful & enthusiastic. Freddy is FAST, loves routine and is house trained. He knows the basic cues.<br/>Skills include:<br/>- did we mention he is FAST! He would be GREAT at agility<br/>- 10/10 on the cuddle scale<br/>- a bit like a house alarm, will bark to alert you (with positive reinforcement he knows to cease when instructed)<br/>- 10/10 on bringing joy and enthusiasm to all things in life- plays well with other dogs after proper introduction<br/>- loves to learn and work<br/>- good with horses, chickens and cats<br/>Work in Progress includes: <br/>- can be reactive with new dogs if not introduced properly<br/>- shy- his early life in the shelter has caused him to be wary of strangers but once he knows you, he warms right up- trust is earned with Freddy, not given automatically<br/>Ideal home:<br/>- he loves routine - fenced outdoor space he can safely explore<br/>- people who will worship him and make him feel safe and loved<br/>- humans with experience with shy dogs who can boost his confidence<br/>He is healthy, neutered and vaccinated. <br/>He is looking for a quiet home who will support him in cuddles. Kids would be alot for him.
