Freddie's Story
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

FREDDIE

Age: ~7 months
Breed: Brindle Shepherd Mix
Sex: Male
Weight: ~40 lbs

Fostered in St. Catharines, ON

Neutered, vaccinated & microchipped

Meet Freddie — a sweet, gentle boy who’s still learning what it means to be a beloved family dog. He’s estimated to be around 6 months old but seems even younger in spirit and experience.

Freddie is playful, goofy, and full of potential. He loves zooming around both inside and outside the house, and he’s great at making friends — he plays nicely with other dogs, especially his buddy Pancake, and has lived with cats. He’s a submissive boy with a timid side; new sights and sounds can startle him (the kitchen step ladder gave him quite a scare!), but with patience and reassurance, he’s learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.

Freddie is working on basic training — learning his name, “sit,” and house manners. It’s clear that he likely came from a place where he didn’t get much guidance or cleanliness, but he’s adjusting beautifully in his foster home. He’s working on housetraining at the moment.

He’s still figuring out the leash, though he doesn’t pull and isn’t reactive to other dogs on walks. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run around & do his business.

Freddie has big paws and an even bigger heart, and he’s ready for a patient, loving home that will continue to help him grow in confidence and skill.

Please apply now to adopt Freddie: https://form.jotform.com/211694512438255

Adoption fee is $850
