Have a look at this beautiful girl named Freda. She is 1 yrs old, spayed, UTD on her shots and chipped. She weighs 70 pounds and stands 22 inches tall. She is house trained.

Her needs are....A secure fenced in yard and an active person or family as she is very active herself.

Her likes are..... Tummy rubs and attention.

We do not know about cats, but we do know if they run, she will chase them. But if they stop and turn, and hiss at her, she will back away. We also do not know about children. She was taught to jump and so she will knock down small ones. Older children would be best, and maybe teach her not to jump. Freda does well on a leash. She lives with other dogs and does great with them.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
