Fred #7378's Story
Fred is a 1.5 year old Great Pyrenees pup that was dumped in a ditch with his sibling Ethel, and found by a good Samaritan. She brought them to her house to clean them up, and had them for 3 weeks trying to find their home, with no one claiming them. She realized she could not keep them and called GRRAND for help as her yard is way too small for 2 big pups like them. Fred is going to be a BIG boy when full grown, so you must be a family ready for a polar bear in your house!

Fred is a very handsome and gregarious boy. He loves to explore but also enjoys human company... He is a true snugglebug, Fred is a fan of belly rubs and sitting close to you. On the smaller side of the Pyrenees breed, his fur grows in regal fashion, providing a ruff around his neck and haunches. He has been at the kennel way too long, and he is desperately looking for a foster or forever family. He is house-trained and is so very sweet.

The Great Pyrenees love to hang out, roam and patrol their yard, and they do that best in a secure area. Fred is looking for a secure above ground fenced yard and a family that loves to understand their breed. They have so many similiarities to Goldens, but we suggest you research them to understand how they are different too.

We are still learning about Fred so please check back for more info, or fill out an app at GRRAND.org if you would like to meet them!
