FRED is about 7 yrs old & weighs about 8 pounds. He is quiet until he thinks you need protecting. =-D<br/><br/>FRED has all of his shots, is neutered, and has a microchip. He's very healthy!<br/><br/>FRED is a very playful adult doggie. He loves for you to chase him around the backyard or he LOVES to play chase with other dogs, or to play with toys. He is very, very smart and loving. He would love to be part of a loving family, without younger children, or with active retired persons. He wants lots of love, to go on hikes or walks, to go for car rides, and to go anywhere he can, as long as it's with you!! He craves attention, affection, and just wants someone to love!! He loves to be scritched around his big ears, and on his neck. He also LOVES to give hugs on your neck, kinda’ like a cat! Fred plays with toys. Fred knows how to use a doggie door (if he doesn't live in an area with coyotes). He's crate-trained. =-D. He's house-trained. =-D <br/><br/>Fred came from a home where he was badly neglected. Fred would prefer a home with a retired person or persons, or someone who works permanently from home. He would also like a yard or private patio area to potty in. He likes to go on walks and go for rides when possible, for fun. Since Fred was kept inside for the beginning of his life, walking and a private potty area is very important to him and to us. He also really wants quality dog food, and not human leftovers, to keep him strong and healthy. Treats aren’t eaten on a regular basis by Fred. Fred prefers and needs lots of love and affection. He loves to jump on the back of the recliner or sofa, above your head. When you invite him down to your lap, he comes down into your lap and likes to be covered with a light blanket. He likes to sleep like that as well, near your side and with a light blanket over him. Sometimes he comes up your chest and rubs the top of his head under your chin. He hugs you with his front legs! <br/><br/>Fred’s adoption fee is $375. Please include your phone number and address. We bring the dog to you for the required Meet N Greet, to include all who will be living with him.
