He is so friendly and just wants to be with his person!<br/><br/>Sweet, curious, and endlessly upbeat! Fred has a positive energy thats impossible not to love. He's friendly with everyone he meets, loves attention from his people, and happily follows along wherever life takes him. Whether he's hanging out with other dogs, exploring the yard, or just shadowing you around the house, Fred is happiest being part of the action. He is inquisitive and has no apprehension or fear! <br/><br/>He's crate trained, gets along great with both dogs and cats, and is currently working on house training and leash manners. In regards to potty training, if he does have an accident in the house it is on a pee pad! He started walks with his harness and loves it! He just prances and bounces around- he thoroughly enjoys himself on walks! His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
