Meet Dimples & Freckles! <br/><br/>Sometimes, all it takes is one family saying "yes" to completely change a life.<br/><br/>Dimples and Freckles are two adorable, one-year-old Shih Tzus who recently joined Dusty Tails Animal Rescue after coming from a very heartbreaking situation. While we won't share all of the details of where they came from, we're incredibly thankful that we were able to step in and give them the fresh start they deserve.<br/><br/>The truth is, that wouldn't have been possible without one amazing foster family opening their home.<br/><br/>As a completely foster-based rescue, we don't have a shelter or building where dogs can wait for homes. Every single dog we save has to have somewhere safe to go first. Because one family chose to foster, these two sweet pups were able to leave their past behind and begin their journey toward a brighter future. It's a beautiful reminder that fostering truly saves lives.<br/><br/>Now let's introduce these precious pups...<br/><br/> Dimples is the handsome little gentleman of the pair. He's a bit more reserved and takes a little time to settle into new situations, but underneath that shy exterior is an incredibly sweet boy who is learning that people can be kind and that he's finally safe. Every day his personality continues to blossom.<br/><br/> Freckles is the outgoing girl with the cutest little personality! She's sweet, affectionate, and has done wonderfully with both other dogs and cats in her foster home. She loves being around her people and is soaking up all the love she's missed out on.<br/><br/>After everything they've been through, these two are finally getting to experience soft beds, full bellies, kindness, and the simple joy of just being dogs. While they don't have to be adopted together, we know each of them is going to make an incredible companion for one very lucky family.<br/><br/>We are so grateful to the foster family who made their rescue possible. Without foster homes, stories like Dimples' and Freckles' often have very different endings.
