Franklin's Story

Meet Franklin! For at least a year, Franklin wandered the streets as a stray. Kind neighbors knew where he belonged and repeatedly took him home, but one day his owner simply said, "I don't want him." So now Franklin is now a Tails of Hope Dog rescue dog, and only good days are ahead. The fact that this little guy never got hit by a car and tested heartworm negative is nothing short of a miracle. Now it's our turn to make sure he gets the life he has always deserved. Franklin is about 34 years old and weighs just 20 pounds. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. He is also scheduled to be neutered on July 9. In his foster home, Franklin has done very well with other dogs and also seems to do just fine with cats. And can we talk about that gorgeous blue merle coat? He is absolutely stunning! Franklin is currently relaxing in his foster home in Memphis while he waits for his forever family.
