Frankie's Story

Frank is ready to find his forever people and a place where he can chase his beloved tennis ball for the rest of his days. 🎾

With his handsome underbite, goofy grin, and legendary afternoon zoomies, Frank has a way of wrapping everyone around his paw almost instantly. He’s estimated to be around a year old and is equal parts comedian, cuddle bug, and loyal best friend.

Frank is incredibly food-motivated and eager to please. He knows basic commands, sits like a gentleman for treats, and responds well to “kennel.” He’s kennel-trained and loves cozy time just as much as zoomie time. Blankets, dog beds, couches, your bed... if it’s comfy, Frank is all in.

He’s wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. That said, Frank is still learning that not every child wants to be part of his NASCAR-inspired zoomie race course. He means absolutely no harm; he just gets very excited about life. 😂

Frank also takes his neighborhood security duties very seriously and makes sure the mailman knows it daily. He has been known to do a little indoor leg lifting and marking, but now that he’s freshly neutered, we’re hopeful that behavior will continue improving. He has a couple of stylish belly bands we will send with him if he hasn't broken his little habit by the time he's adopted.

This sweet, wiggly boy will absolutely thrive with:
🐾 A securely fenced yard for his zoomies
🐾 A family who appreciates goofy, affectionate dogs
🐾 Plenty of treats, toys, and cuddles
🐾 Probably not a candidate for apartment life
🐾 Someone willing to continue helping him polish his manners

Frank is loving, hilarious, affectionate, and so ready to find his people. If you’re looking for a dog that will keep you laughing, keep you loved, and happily share your couch, Frank may just be your guy. Idaho Animal Rescue Network's Adoption Policy
Upon completing an application for adoption, potential adopters are contacted via email or phone to discuss the needs (present and future) of the animal they hope to adopt. Approved adopters are then invited to meet with the animal one-on-one to get a better idea of their personality. In some instances, we offer them a couple of meet and greets. Because some of our animals come from abuse/neglect situations, we do not ever rush adoptions and appreciate the adopters who understand this process. A home visit is required and if renting, a potential adopter must provide landlord information so approval can be verified by our staff. * We do NOT adhere to a first-come adoption basis. We seek the best fit for the animals in our care.
