If you’ve been dreaming of a little gentleman with big feelings, a smooshy face, and a heart that thumps excitedly every time you walk into the room... meet Frankie Boston. This tan‑and‑white cutie is basically a walking mood enhancer. He’s sweet, he’s social, he’s a little bit goofy, and he’s absolutely convinced that your lap was designed specifically for him.

Frankie has settled into his foster home like a pro. We're told he’s affectionate, gentle, and mild‑mannered, the kind of houseguest who brings sunshine wherever he goes. He loves squeaky toys, cuddles, laptime, and any opportunity to be your little shadow. He’s also a fan of playgroups and yard time, where he gets to show off his zoomies and his “I’m a big dog in a small dog body” confidence.

He’s great with dogs of all sizes and he’s tolerant and playful with kids, whether they’re calm bookworms or energetic whirlwinds. He’s calm in his crate for 6–8 hours at a time and settles nicely once he knows the routine.
He’s happy to chill when you’re busy and thrilled to join in when you’re not. He’s still working on leash skills and basic obedience, but he’s eager to please and learns quickly. Frankie's waiting to meet you.

An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:

Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
