Frankie (ADOPTION PENDING)'s Story
Frankie is 19 months old and weighs 16 pounds. Frankie came into our rescue when he was 5 months old. He was adopted and returned because of his eye issues. We had no idea he was having eye issues, his eyes were fine when he was adopted. His right eye is a sunken eye and he is blind in that eye. We took him to VCA to see a specialist and to our vet in Indiana. Both agreed on his eyes. His left eye has the start of a cataract. He is getting one drop of Timolol in his left eye twice a day and over-the-counter dry eye ointment at bedtime to keep his eye lubricated. The vet feels he might go blind in that eye, but it could be a long time. He has no problem right now with stairs, jumping on bed and couch. He is a very lively little guy with lots of love to give. He loves to sleep with you and lay on the couch when you are watching TV. Typical loveable pug.
