***Sharonville Location***<br/><br/>Frankie is a big, beautiful, brindle dog who is just about a perfect pet! She is 4-5 years old and weighs about 87 pounds. Frankie loves people and toys, is very affectionate and smart, and is the perfect combination of active and chill. She is more than happy to play fetch as long as you’re up for it, but when play time is over she’s perfectly content to lay down with her toy and just hang out, preferably after some belly rubs.<br/><br/>Frankie has no known health issues and is super house trained – she always keeps her kennel clean, even when volunteers run late to let her out in the morning! She is non-destructive and does not chew on her bed or blankets. She is not a fussy eater and has been able to handle different brands and types of food without issue. And she enjoys any and all treats. <br/> <br/>Frankie is very smart and has learned basic commands; once she finds her person and builds a connection with them, we think she could learn much more! She listens well and follows our lead easily. She is happy to ride in the car and is good on a leash. A fenced yard would be best for her; she would love to have room to run and play and roll in the grass, and then a soft spot inside to nap afterwards.<br/> <br/>Her former owner adored her but sadly had to surrender her, along with another dog in the household, when they became homeless. She happily lived and played with her former canine sibling and was always a good sport putting up with his energy. Since he was adopted some time ago, though, she’s been on her own for quite a while, so any introduction to a new canine friend would have to be a slow and careful process.
