Frankie's Story

Frankie's world changed overnight...For 9 years, Frankie had his person, his routine, and a home where he belonged. Sadly, when his owner had to move into assisted living, there was nowhere for Frankie to go. He was brought to the vet to be euthanized simply because he had nowhere else to land.

Thankfully, the veterinary staff couldn't let that happen - and neither could we.

Frankie is a healthy little guy, aside from needing a dental cleaning and having a couple harmless skin tags. His biggest wound right now isn't medical... it's a broken heart.

When Frankie first arrived at his foster home, he was confused and shut down. He wouldn't eat and didn't want to go outside. His entire world had been turned upside down. Slowly, day by day, we're starting to see him come back, eating a little more each day and starting to settle in. With patience and kindness, this sweet boy will blossom again.

Frankie will be looking for a quiet home once his dental work is completed. He'll need someone who understands that he may take a little time to adjust to a new routine and new people. Frankie gets along well with the foster's, loves going for walks, is happy to lounge on the sofa or curl up on the bed. He is quiet, calm, and incredibly sweet

Frankie just needs someone willing to give him the soft place to land. We would love nothing more than to see him spend his golden years being loved again.
