Meet Frank

Male, 7 years old, 16 lbs

I'll be FRANK with you; this sweet gentleman is destined to be your new best friend. Frank is chill, quiet, and snuggly. Ready to slow down and sniff the roses, this pup is happy with a few leisurely strolls, a treat, and saying hello to new dog friends before settling down with the Sunday crosswoof puzzle.

At seven years young, Frank is mature enough to politely greet humans and dogs, but still young enough to learn new skills. He's making great progress on housetraining and tested out of crate training by behaving perfectly when left alone in his foster's apartment. Frank understands the truly important things in life; he saves his energy to get excited for mealtimes and when you come home. He'll be perfect for a family with someone who works from home or can sneak in a walk with him at lunch time.

If you're looking for a calm, gentle guy to enjoy the good life with and remind you to take it easy, then make an appointment today to hang out with Frank!

If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a DOG: http://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-dogs.html

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPPL, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
