Breed Info: Alabama Special! Frank came up all alone, so we don't have any info about his parents. Based on his current age/size/growth, he will likely be a big fella.
Sex: Male
Age: 8 weeks
DOB: 1/16/2024
Weight: 12.5 lb on 3/12/2024
Dog friendly? Yes! He lives with three small dogs and loves to play with them.
Cat friendly? He's just a baby, so will be able to learn to live with kitties!
Kid friendly? Yes, he lives with 13, 10, and 8 year old kids and loves to play with them!
House-training: Not fully, but he is catching on quickly and will always potty when you take him outside.
Crate-trained: Not yet - he's just a baby.
Energy level: Typical puppy! Loving, curious, energetic, playful, and go, go, go until he runs out of steam and collapses for a nap. :)
Best features: Gorgeous blue eyes, super soft and fluffy fur, puppy breath, and super sweet and curious personality.
Things to keep working on: Literally everything…he is just a baby, after all. It will be up to his furever family to put in the time and effort to make him into the best little (or BIG!) doggo he can be!
Details: Frank was brought in all alone to an Alabama shelter during a cold snap when he was just a week or so old - his eyes weren't even open yet. He traveled to his foster home in Wisconsin on 1/24/24 where he was bottle fed for 2-3 more weeks before he learned to eat soft food and eventually hard food.

Frank is fostered near DeForest, WI and is available for adoption through Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He will be neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention at the time of adoption. Adoption fee is $425. Our process is as follows:

2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
