Meet Frank — a soft heart learning how to be brave. Frank is six months old, and the kind of love he offers is the quiet, precious kind you earn. He’s timid at first, watching the world carefully, but once he trusts you, he melts straight into your lap like he’s always belonged there. Snuggles are his love language. He’s not a fan of crates, but give him space and patience and you’ll see his real joy shine through—especially when he’s racing around the house with his current roommate, ears flying, discovering how fun life can be. Frank is a quick learner who wants to do well. He’s already working on sit, touch, and down, and he lights up when he realizes he’s gotten it right. Squeaky toys make his tail go wild. Warm laps make him feel safe. What he truly needs is a calm, experienced person with the time and heart to gently coach him all the way out of his shell.<br/><br/>Frank is a scared pup, and he will need a calm, patient family who understands that he needs time to warm up and trust them. Families home most of the day and with another confident / social dog are preferred. Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!<br/><br/>The adoption fee of $500 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!<br/><br/>*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
