Foxy's Story
Meet Foxy. She truly does look like a little fox — with a delicate face that hints at Australian Shepherd and Cattle Dog, a slender frame, a stunning reddish-golden coat, and the fluffiest tail. But what really stays with you is her gentle spirit.

Foxy is a sweet, soft-natured girl who approaches the world with quiet curiosity. She is wonderfully respectful with the dogs she meets and in no time she will be initiating play! She would love another playful dog in her home!

This smart girl has not had a single accident in her foster home and is calm and easygoing in the house. Her foster parents give her free roam at night, where she usually chooses the sofa or a cozy dog bed, and she has also done wonderfully free roam for short periods when they leave the house. On leash, Foxy is gentle and easy to walk. She may notice a squirrel or birds passing by, but she's very manageable and attentive.

Foxy is shy in new situations and takes time to assess her surroundings. She is not difficult or fearful — just a sensitive soul who needs a patient adopter willing to give her the time and space to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through.

She's only around a year old, but somehow already carries the quiet wisdom of an old soul. Maybe that comes from what she's been through. Foxy was found wandering down the middle of a remote two-lane highway with her best friend, Zander, beside her. No shoulder. Cars speeding past. The fact that neither dog was hit feels nothing short of miraculous. And the fact that a compassionate couple happened to stop at exactly the right moment feels like fate.

Whatever Foxy's past held, it did not take away her softness. It simply made her gentler, quieter, and deeply appreciative of every kindness she's shown.

Now Foxy is ready for the next chapter — one filled with safety, patience, and love.

If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
