Through no fault of her own, her loving family has faced significant life changes and medical complications, leading to this heartbreaking decision.<br/><br/>Elphabas story is especially heartbreaking. She was dropped off at doggy daycare, and before she knew it, her family rarely returned to pick her up or even visit. What started as daycare turned into living full-time in boarding. While she has been well cared for, every dog deserves the comfort of a home and a family to call their own.<br/><br/> About Elphaba:<br/>- Healthy with a clean bill of health<br/>-Exceptionally well-trained<br/>- Dog-friendly and pre-approved for daycare and boarding at Hounds Town locations nationwide<br/>-Intelligent, loyal, and happiest when she has a job to do<br/><br/>Elphaba would do best with an experienced Doberman owner and an active home that can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and continued training. <br/><br/>Due to Elphabas size , children 12 years and older are recommended. <br/>No cats or small animals<br/><br/>The rescue will provide all supplies to foster Elphaba. This includes food, crate, leash, collar, treats, toys and all vetting needed. Rescued Rascals's Adoption Policy
We have our adoption application on our website www.rescuedrascalsil.org . Once you submit an application we review it and then contact you. We then will set up a phone interview. If all is good with a meet and greet with your whole family and your phone interview, you will be able to adopt. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccinations, updated on flea/tick and heartworm preventative, micro-chipping, and a free vet visit from our participating veterinarian.
