FOSTER's Story

Foster is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.
He’s about four and a half+ years old.
His puppyhood was not good. We’ll never know what happened to him during that time to cause him to be filled with so many uncertainties to this day.
Even after four years with loving, consistent caregivers, it’s difficult for him to get close. You can tell he wants to get closer as he watches the other dogs with people from afar.
He’s been cared for in a kennel environment where he has playtime with other dogs but hasn’t been in a home environment building trust and living with people.
Not having fosters sets dogs in his situation way back.
We want the best of everything for Foster and hate to see him wasting his younger years like this, missing out on a simple, sweet life shared with someone who loves and understands him.
He’s a lovely, good boy who we’ve never seen be mean to a person or another dog. He’s gentle, smart, and sweet and needs a home with a trusting, quiet environment, a person or whole family with regular routines that Foster can count on, and patience, time, and love to give this precious boy.
Email us at SPARpets@gmail.com if you’d like to learn more about Foster or are interested in adopting or fostering him.
