FORREST (Neutered!) German Shepherd Dog & Australian Shepherd Mix Crossville, TN

FORREST is listed as a possible mixture of three different breeds. He is about 10 to 11 months of age. So, he is young, friendly, sweet, playful, and just plain adorable! Now, back to the breeds… Staff has listed those as German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and Cattle Dog. He is black with some brown brindle and white markings and weighs just 30 lbs. It is hard to get photos of him right now because his kennel mate is trying to climb all over him so he can be the one to get his pictures taken! Stay tuned! Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, FORREST was neutered on Monday, March 11. As a result, he can go home the same day, that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
