Forrest Shepherd Mix Charlotte, NC

Forrest is a young (2-3 year old), 33 lb mixed breed pup looking for his forever home! Forrest does absolutely wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kittens alike. He is !00% house and crate trained, neutered, HW negative, and up to date on all vaccines.

Forrest came from an outdoor animal hoarding situation where he spent his entire life on a chain, along with 30 other dogs. Although he has excellent house manners (he is as easy going and low maintenance as they come), he is very shy to new people and will require a family who understands he needs time and patience to come out of his shell. Forrest is much more comfortable with other dogs around, therefore a home with another dog for him to bond with is a requirement. We will unfortunately not be considering homes without other dogs at this time.

Forrest has great leash manners, loves to sun bathe, a peanut butter kong, and laying in his favorite bed. He has had limited exposure to children in his foster home.
