Fonzie's Story
Fonzarelli is an approximately 1 year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix. He is a silvery gray little guy and is the life of the party!

Fonzie seems to love just about everyone he meets and is dog friendly. He is a little much for cats. He hasn’t hurt any cats in his foster home, but he certainly drives them nutso! He absolutely LOVES toys and would happily spend his day playing, tugging, fetching, exploring, and keeping you on your toes.

The Fonz is a smart dog! He has already completed Beginning Obedience and ready to start Intermediate with his family! He needs plenty of enrichment, mental stimulation, exercise, and positive reinforcement training to keep his busy brain occupied. We think he would excel at nosework and/or agility.

Fonzie is potty trained, but may need a day or so to adjust to your schedule. He is crate trained and sleeps all night in his crate. He is not a fan of crate time if he can hear you in the house as he wants to know what he’s missing.

Fonzie is an energetic puppy and can get easily overstimulated. When he gets too wound up, he needs his humans to recognize that he’s reached his limit and help him take a break. He’ll need a family who understands that teaching an energetic dog how to settle is just as important as teaching him how to sit.

One thing is for sure...life with Fonzie will never be boring

Fonzie is neutered, current on vaccines and prevention and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. To meet him, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
