Fluffball's Story

Fluffball – Your Slow-Bloom, Soulmate Dog

Fluffball, born 1/2021, is a Havanese mix with a whole lot of personality packed into an 18 pound, low-riding, sturdy little body. She may be built close to the ground, but her loyalty runs deep.

Fluffball isn't the kind of dog who rushes up to greet strangers with kisses—and that's exactly what makes her so special. She's thoughtful. Observant. She takes her time deciding who her people are... but once you're in, you're in for life. The bond she forms is the kind that can't be rushed—and is absolutely worth the wait.

Her ideal home? A calm person or couple who enjoys the quieter side of life—someone who will let her putter around the house, be part of the daily rhythm, and most importantly, give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Change is hard for Fluffball, but with patience, she blossoms into a deeply devoted companion.

She can be a bit vocal or reactive in her crate—not out of aggression, but because she wants to be where the action is. She thrives on connection, just on her own timeline.

And let's talk about that coat—this girl's fluffy, soft look comes with responsibility! As a Havanese mix, she'll need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.

Fluffball isn't for everyone—but for the right person, she's everything.
Adoption Donation: $200 Includes spay, vaccines, and microchip.

Hoof and Paw ART's Adoption Policy
Once an animal is deemed adoptable, when a potential adopter expresses interest, we will have them fill out an application. After reviewing it, we will do an interview to vet them. When possible, this will include a face to face with children, other dogs etc.. Then we will typically do a foster to adoption agreement. After a period of time (from a couple of weeks to a few months based on the animal and other factors), we will do a final adoption agreement. In some cases, such as a previous adopter in good standing, we may skip the foster step.
