Flower's Story

I've got a lot to say, and I'm not shy about saying it.

My name is Flower, and I've been here since 11/18/2025 after being surrendered by my owner. When I step into a space, I bring energy with me. I might bark, I might pull, I might try to take the lead if no one else does. I'm not trying to be difficult, I just haven't fully learned where the boundaries are yet.

The good news is, I'm learning.

I didn't always feel sure of myself around other dogs, but that's been changing. I've started gaining confidence, spending time around others, and figuring out how to exist in a group without feeling overwhelmed. I tend to do my own thing a lot, but I'm beginning to explore play more, especially the rough and rowdy kind. Sometimes I get a little carried away in those moments, and that's where I still need guidance to keep things respectful and appropriate.

With people, I'm very interactive. I'll talk to you, I'll try to get your attention, and I'll absolutely test to see what I can get away with. If you're consistent with me, I'll start to understand what's expected. If not, I'll happily make my own rules.

My energy sits right in that middle space. I'm not bouncing off the walls nonstop, but I'm definitely not low-key either. I like to move, explore, and engage, especially once I feel comfortable.

What I really need is someone who won't let me run the show. Someone patient, consistent, and willing to guide me while I keep figuring things out. I've already started improving, and with the right person, I'm only going to keep getting better.

If you're looking for a dog with personality, energy, and the potential to grow into a really well-rounded companion, come meet me. I've got a lot to offer, I just need someone to help me shape it.
