With his classic Golden Retriever "velcro" personality, Flint wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or heading out on an adventure, Flint will happily be your loyal shadow.<br/><br/>Flint loves people of all ages and has a sweet, affectionate nature that makes him an instant favorite. He does well with most other dogs, although because he was only recently neutered, he may not be the best match for unaltered male dogs while his hormones have time to settle.<br/><br/>This smart boy already has great manners. He knows how to use the dog door, does wonderfully in his kennel, and appears to be house broken. He's ready to transition right into family life with very little adjustment.<br/><br/>Flint is looking for a family that will shower him with love and let him be part of everything they do. If you're searching for a devoted companion who will happily stick by your side through life's adventures, Flint is ready to become the heart of your home.<br/><br/>Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)<br/><br/>You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.<br/><br/>His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.<br/><br/>Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.<br/><br/>Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.<br/><br/>Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ **<br/><br/>- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -<br/><br/>SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.<br/><br/>Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.<br/><br/>Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.<br/><br/>All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.<br/><br/>We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.
