Flapjack's Story

Flapjack may be estimated to be 6 years old, but we're starting to think somebody got his paperwork mixed up with a much younger dog. This 20-pound boy has way too much pep in his step to be taking life at a senior's pace!

Flapjack came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about where he came from or what life looked like before rescue. What we do know is that he is having a pretty great time now.

He's active, playful, friendly, and very interested in whatever fun is happening around him. If the other dogs are running around, Flapjack wants in. If there's something going on, he wants to be part of it. He's got plenty of energy and enthusiasm, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

And then, once the fun is over, Flapjack is perfectly happy to clock out and collect his payment in belly rubs. He'll happily trot over for head scratches, flop over for some belly rubs, and soak up some attention before he's ready to get back to whatever important business he has going on.

Honestly, Flapjack is a pretty great combo: enough pep to keep up with you, enough sweetness to make you want to cuddle him, and absolutely no interest in acting his age.

We don't know how long Flapjack was on his own, but we're pretty sure he's ready for the easy life now. Good food, a comfortable bed, some dog friends, plenty of playtime, and a person who won't mind being recruited for regular belly-rub duty. Flapjack is ready to flip the page on his stray days and start the good part...being your best friend. Interested in this sweet boy? Please inquire today!
