With his long legs and slender build, we don't expect him to grow much beyond 50 pounds as an adult.<br/><br/>You may notice that Firefly's coat looks a little... different. His previous owner decided to shave him to help him stay cool during the summer. While he may be sporting a bit of an "ugly duckling" haircut right now, don't let that fool you! His handsome coat is already growing back, and we think he's going to be an absolutely stunning dog. <br/><br/>Firefly's mom is Zinnia, the beautiful Catahoula mix who is also looking for her forever home here at Circle 2 Rescue. Like his mama, Firefly has a gentle spirit, soulful eyes, and the kind of loyal personality that forms deep bonds with the people he loves. <br/><br/> Life hasn't always been easy for Firefly. He knows what it's like to spend his days outside in the summer heat, which may be why he seems to appreciate the simple comforts of home so much.
