She is scared of the world around her because she had a rough beginning of her little life, but just wants to love and be loved SO bad.<br/><br/>She is incredibly shy and does not prefer go outside of her pen, it's her safe place. As she gets comfortable and feels safe with you, she will eat when her foster is in the room and they can pet her and hands, feed her for a little bit before she retreats. She loves being up against the wall and cuddling with Donkey. She is very quiet and definitely wants to be pet and loved but doesn't know how to yet!! Her incredible foster is helping her learn that humans can be good. She would not hurt a fly. Her ears are incredible and her signature look is sticking her tongue out! <br/><br/>She's very shy and timid and can be scared at first, but she truly sweet, curious, and adorable. Just learning that the world isn't so scary when you are loved! She is crate trained and working on her potty training. She's like Eeyore, but we just know that she will become Winnie the Pooh when she is comfortable and loved, just like she deserves! She is one strong mama! <br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
