She is scared of the world around her because she had a rough beginning of her little life, but just wants to love and be loved SO bad. She is fine with other dogs and does not pay them any mind! She has no aggression towards people or other animals, and has not shown a prey drive.<br/><br/>She is very shy and is learning to trust and be comfortable in this world! She has completed a confidence board and train program and is doing well walking on the leash now! She is good with baths and being handled, although she doesn’t yet seek out affection. She would not hurt a fly. Her ears are incredible and her signature look is sticking her tongue out - her underbite will rival any dog's! She will need a fenced yard as she works through continuing to get comfortable being on leash and exploring the world around her! She is not a flight risk, but will hide when outdoors if given the chance.<br/><br/>She's very shy and timid and can be scared at first, but she is truly sweet, curious, and adorable. She is crate trained and working on her potty training. She's like Eeyore, but we just know that she will become Winnie the Pooh when she is comfortable and loved, just like she deserves! She is one strong mama! <br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
