Meet Finn * IA<br/><br/>ADOPTION APPLICATIONS CAN BE ACCESSED ON OUR WEBSITE: almosthomefoster.com<br/><br/>Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.<br/><br/>Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.<br/><br/>All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.<br/>Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.<br/><br/>All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.<br/><br/>*Puppies are eligible for our Foster to Adopt Program. No puppy will be spayed or neutered prior to 6-9 months of age. If the family wishes to “Foster to Adopt” the puppy will be fostered by the potential, adopting family until such time that the dog is spayed/neutered. At that time, with proof of spay or neuter procedure, ownership will transfer and a refund of, up to $210.00 will be refunded to the adoptive family. OPTION: The puppy returns to the rescue’s Veterinarian, Doc. Daniel Smith at Albert Lea Veterinary Clinic and all Neuter/Spay procedure costs are covered by Almost Home Foster & Rescue . All Foster to Adopt families will agree to and sign a separate Waiver regarding the spay and neuter procedure of adopting puppies prior to 6/9 months of age.<br/><br/>No puppy will leave Almost Home Foster/Rescue prior to being fully vaccinated. The last vaccination is received between 15-16 weeks of age. Finn is scheduled for his neuter procedure in January 2026 when he reaches 6 months of age.<br/><br/>Finn will be available for the Foster-To-Adopt Program at the end of November upon receiving his rabies vaccination.<br/><br/>We are currently accepting adoption applications for Finn * IA<br/><br/>Finn is 3.5 months of age. His DOB is 07.28.2025. He will be eligible to enter the Foster to Adopt Program at age 16-18 weeks, upon receiving his Rabies vaccination.<br/><br/>Finn is a Bichon Frise'/ Yorkshire Terrier Mix.<br/><br/>AHFK is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Finn acclimate to his new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Finn to acclimate to the drastic changes in his life.<br/><br/>Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application.
