Meet Finn

Finn has found his forever home in Leicester, MA with Adam and Erin S.

Adoption Coordinator: Carol
Adoption Fee: $400

Finn is a very handsome Lab mix with a shiny, jet black coat weighing 56 lbs at 1-2 years in age. He was pulled from a shelter in MS by one of our southern rescue partners. Finn has medium/high energy and loves to run around outside barking at noises that come from the opposite side of the fence. He also loves attention and being pet. In many ways, he is a big lap dog and wants a spot in bed right beside you :) Finn is a social guy and does well with other dogs, but has not been cat tested. He currently does not use a crate, but does use a doggy door to go outside and do his business and likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. He walks very well on leash. At some point, Finn had a nasty break in his back leg. The bones healed prior to entering rescue leaving one leg shorter than the other three. Although he walks with a slight limp, this has not slowed Finn down. He is a lovable, affectionate pup just looking for a loving home and family to be a part of.

Please Note: Finn is currently being fostered in TN and is not here to meet. It is very likely he will receive a deposit for his adoption before arriving in MA. Please read more about our rescue and process on our website www.foreverhomerescue.org. If interested, the first step in our process is to complete an application. We find our pup's do best in a home with children ages 5 and older.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
