He requires grooming to look his best every couple of months plus nail trims. <br/>.<br/>Finley is fully vaccinated, dewormed and neutered. <br/>.<br/>Great with adults and children over the age of 7. We are looking for an active Family as that is where Finley is happiest. <br/>.<br/>*No seniors we are looking for a family or Active Couple for this guy due to his energy level and needs. This is about what is the best match for Finley.* <br/>.<br/>No shared walls (Apartments, Townhouses or Condos) This boy is a talker when he wants out of his kennel. <br/>.<br/>A home with a securely fenced locked yard is mandatory, with no exceptions. <br/>.<br/>Ideal home: Must be an active home, this boy loves to travel, hike, play fetch. He would be great at agility all the while carrying his teddy bear everywhere. Finley loves to be on the move, absolutely no fear in anything. Plays with any animal. Great dogs, with birds, cats, an animal just a sweet boy. Only if the cat is used to dogs. Previous owners report he was too much for their cat. He is so playful he can be too much for smaller dogs and cats. <br/>.<br/>Finley is good with older children and loves to play with them and be with Children who are respectful of boundaries NO Hugging! <br/>.<br/>Quirks: <br/>For some reason, he isn't keen on being picked up. So like he won't let you pick him up and put him in the vehicle, he would rather get in on his own. He doesn't bite or anything. He has great recall once he knows you and he has taken training classes with Joanna at For The love of Paws Pet Services. <br/>.<br/>Shedding: Yes, he loves being brushed so that wouldn't be an issue. Finley sheds and if you have allergies he is not the dog for you. He requires grooming to look his best every couple of months. <br/>.<br/>100% Crate trained and house trained once he knows your routine otherwise he will have accidents until he learns your routine then he is good. <br/>.<br/>Routine:<br/>He only ever gets fed twice a day in his crate so that's what he is used to.
