Fin (Looking for Foster!) Australian Shepherd Mix Monroe, OH

Hey everyone! I'm Finn and I am a huge lovebug. The PAWS team is in search of a foster for me because I tested positive for heartworms. My vet set up a treatment plan for me that will end February 2nd, 2022. I am currently being treated with medication that my foster will need to be made well aware of.

I am a very sweet boy but I would do best in a home with no other dogs or young excitable children. My foster will need to be in constant contact with PAWS staff to ensure that my medical needs are being taken care of. I do not require a fenced in yard, as I need to remain calm.

I am a very friendly guy and I love to sit beside you and just be pet. If you want a larger lapdog, I'm your man!

During my time at a foster, I need to stay very calm and have lots of down time. This means strictly restricting all exercise and activity that would elevate my heart rate or increase my blood pressure.
