Meet Fifa! <br/><br/>Fifa is a 1-year-old, 60 lb pup who was reportedly abandoned before coming to the shelter. Despite his rough start, he was nothing but kind and cooperative during his intake exams and has won us over ever since.<br/><br/>On a recent Dogs Day Out, Fifa finally got to experience life outside the shelter after spending so much of his young life in a kennel. He loved every minute of splashing in the pool, playing fetch and tug, and proudly carrying around his favorite toys.<br/><br/>Fifa is still learning the ropes of being a dog. New sights and sounds can make him pause for a moment, but he's incredibly curious and grows braver every day. He's a good walker, rides well in the car, enjoys affection once he's gotten his energy out, and has shown friendly, relaxed body language around other dogs.<br/><br/>He occasionally grabs at fabric leashes, so a chain leash has been the best option while he continues learning. Like any young dog, Fifa is working on his manners, but he's eager to learn and redirects easily with guidance.<br/><br/>Fifa needs the chance to spend time in a home where he can continue building confidence and enjoying all the things puppies should.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
