Fetty's Story

Fetty Princess

Well, hello there! My name is Fetty, and I'm 4-5 years old. People think Im probably an Olde English Bulldog, because Im kinda tall. I weigh about 50 pounds. I used to live with a man and his kids and now live with my foster mom, dad, and brother (16). I get along with kids and adults. I'm pretty calm most of the time, but can have crazy spurts of energy. Classic bulldog!

I get along with the other dog that lives here very well, even if the humans keep saying that I can get a little too personal. Even so, I almost always choose to be with the lady of the house. But, if shes not around, I just want to be with someone. I can get a little separation anxiety when left alone. Ill need a forever family that will work on my anxiety with me.

I've been spayed because I don't need to have any more puppies. While they were at it, they removed a mast cell tumor by my ear and it's all taken care of. I'm a great eater and I LOVE playing with toys. That can be a good distraction when I get anxious. I sometimes have some humping behavior, but this is getting better since my spay.

I have some early arthritis, but I'm on a supplement, and I manage well. I'm potty trained and a good leash walker, but I normally go out in the yard.

My perfect forever home would have lots of opportunities to be social...with humans and other dogs.

The humans would be:
- present (I tend to get anxious when left alone too long);

- careful (Im known to get into food and the trash);

- loving (Im a bit of an attention hog. I want you to notice my entrance and pet me.);

Thanks for reading my story. Ive been through a lot, but I promise you that Im a really sweet and strong girl. Do you want to be part of my comeback story?

-Fetty

Please visit our website www.ebullymatch.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Chicago English Bulldog Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION TAKES THOUGHT AND PATIENCE. We know you are excited about the thought of getting a bully. But before you make this decision, we ask that you have done the following: Spoken with all members of your household and come to mutual agreement. Discussed the new addition with your home owner's association or landlord if applicable. Experienced the breed yourself. If you do not currently have a bully family member, we ask that you attend one of our CEBR events before applying. Double check our Adoption Area Map to be sure you are in our range. Save up! Bullies are not an inexpensive breed and having a solid savings account that has an emergency fund is essential. Rescue bullies are also not a way to get a "cheap bully." Often times rescue bullies end up costing more in upkeep than a bully purchased from a breeder.
