FERRIS's Story

This sweet boy is Ferris! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/6 because his owner is moving into an apartment and Ferris isn't allowed there. His former owner did note that Ferris is house trained, good with children, and good with cats and dogs! The volunteers describe him as such a good boy! He was upset when he was left at the shelter and cried for his family, but he's starting to settle in. Ferris responds to several commands including sit and lay down. Ferris is really hoping for a new, forever home soon! Could it be with you?

Ferris is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 67 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Ferris is waiting patiently in kennel 18; his ID # is 18800.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
