Fern's Story

Fern is a beautiful little survivor with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. At just 14 weeks old, she has already overcome more than most puppies ever should.

Fern was raised outdoors in a field alongside her siblings where they faced constant danger from traffic, predators, and the elements. During that time, Fern was attacked by a coyote. In an incredible act of bravery, her mom fought off the coyote to save her baby, suffering injuries herself in the process. Fern was left with several puncture wounds that later became infected, but after receiving medical care, treatment, and lots of love, she has healed beautifully and is now ready to find the forever home she deserves.

We believe Fern is a Great Pyrenees mix with possible Dachshund or Beagle traits, giving her an adorable look and sweet personality. Despite everything she has been through, Fern is affectionate, social, playful, and incredibly resilient. She loves attention, enjoys playing with her siblings, and is discovering how wonderful safe indoor life can be.

Fern would thrive in a loving home committed to continuing her puppy training, socialization, and giving her the stability she has never known before. She has survived so much and deserves a family who will treasure her forever.

Fern is spayed, age-appropriately vaccinated, healed from her injuries, and ready for adoption.
